Spy vs Spy vs Spy – Mad #92 (1965) The Grey Spy

The RAREST of ALL Spy vs Spy strips, The Grey Spy! Spy vs Spy vs Spy. – The Grey Spy first appeared in Mad #73 in 1962. She was clever and never lost to the black or white spies. Her final appearance was in Mad #99 in 1965. Only roughly 20 Spy vs Spy strips featured the Grey spy, and in my opinion, THIS IS THE VERY BEST strip featuring the Grey spy!  The gag is a classic and comes complete with an upper and lower gag as well as the original hand drawn Morse Code signature, which is missing from many of the strips! Only roughly 200 Prohias Spy vs Spy gags were ever created for MAD magazine! Many are incomplete, missing top or bottom gags, or Prohias’s Morse Code signature, which spells out “By Prohias” in Morse Code. Spy vs Spy vs Spy is among the RAREST of all Mad original art, with only roughly 20 published examples in existance!

The artwork  is framed, and measures a HUGE 16.75″ x 24″ on two sheets of artist’s board.
